Editorial policy
This policy explains how our content is made and paid for, so you can judge it for yourself.
Who writes
All articles are published under the editorial responsibility of Barbara Cox, the site’s responsible editor, whose name appears on every article with its publication and review dates. Drafting tools, including AI-assisted writing tools, may be used during preparation. Every text is checked against sources and approved by the editor before publication, and the editor is accountable for it.
How facts are established and sourced
- Primary sources first: the game publisher’s official website and help centre, app store listings, and information shown inside the game.
- Secondary sources are used for context and are labelled as such: reputable trade press and reference works for company and release history, and established community guides for mechanics the publisher does not document publicly.
- Numbers such as odds, prices and counts are given with their source and the date we checked them. If we cannot verify something, we say so, or leave it out.
- Every article lists its sources and states that the publisher’s own information prevails if it differs from ours.
- Illustrations are original diagrams made by us. We don’t use game screenshots or stock photos.
How the site is funded
teneris.online is funded by affiliate commissions. Some links, always labelled “Partner link”, lead through an affiliate network to a game’s download page. If a reader installs the game, the publisher, Bohemia sekor s.r.o., may receive a commission. This costs the reader nothing extra and does not change any price in the game. We disclose this in a bar at the top of every page, in a box directly under the headline of every page with partner links, and in a note under every partner button.
We do not sell display advertising, sponsored articles or reviews, and we do not accept free items in exchange for coverage.
What we refuse to do
- No fake testimonials: no invented “reader stories”, quotes, reviews or user comments.
- No invented ratings: no star ratings, scores or rankings unless we can explain exactly how they were made. Currently we publish none.
- No artificial urgency: no fake countdowns, “only today” claims or invented scarcity.
- No guaranteed-result claims: no promises of wins, rewards, bonuses or outcomes.
- No hidden advertising: no commercial link without a visible label.
Independence from advertisers
Game publishers and affiliate partners do not see, review or approve our articles before publication, and have no say in what we write. The fact that we earn a commission from a game does not stop us from describing its drawbacks, costs or odds plainly, and we will not remove accurate criticism at a partner’s request.
Corrections procedure
- Report a suspected error to info@teneris.online with the page address and, if possible, a source.
- The editor reviews every report, normally within a few working days.
- If we got something wrong, we correct the page and add a dated note in the article’s “Corrections” section saying what changed. We don’t silently rewrite substantive errors.
- If we decide no correction is needed, we reply with our reasons.
Minor fixes such as typos or broken links may be made without a note. Review dates are updated whenever an article is re-checked.
